In Borca's Village there is an "House - Museum" completely furnished as a "rural laboratory",it is assembled around the "stube".
It is a beautiful example of the typical Walser construction with base in walling, the superior part in wood for best airing of the hay.
Sometimes this last part is simply supported, other times there is a interspaces, with pillars "like mushrooms" to avoid mice and damp climbing from the ground.

La Casa Museo Walser di Macugnaga è accessibile, ma data la natura storica dell'edificio e la sua collocazione, ci sono alcune considerazioni da tenere a mente riguardo l'accessibilità per persone con mobilità ridotta.
La Casa Museo si trova nella frazione Borca, facilmente raggiungibile in auto o a piedi tramite i sentieri che collegano le frazioni di Macugnaga. Un piccolo parcheggio è disponibile nei pressi della frazione, ma l'accesso diretto alla casa potrebbe richiedere un breve tratto a piedi su un terreno leggermente irregolare. L'ingresso principale presenta gradini in pietra, caratteristici dell'architettura walser, che potrebbero essere un ostacolo per chi utilizza sedie a rotelle o ha difficoltà motorie. Non sono presenti rampe dedicate, poiché l'edificio è stato conservato nella sua forma originale per preservarne il valore storico.
