Follow the Route n.11.
Then go up along the ski slope and pastures up to a characteristic final stairway that still preserves the stones of the medieval path that leads to the Rifugio Maroli.
From here go up a rocky hill to reach the large statue of the Madonna delle Nevi, located on the border with Switzerland.
From here you can enjoy a magnificent view of the Rosa and the valley of Saas, which is dominated by the "four thousand" parade of the Mischabel group.
Below is the Mattmark dam. The pass itself is more to the south - east and can be reached by going up to the left of the ski lift.
