Description
It is the last village, where the main road ends.
In the church there is a figure of the Madonna dei Ghiacciai (Madonna of the ice), which is brought in a procession the last Sunday of July close to the glacier.
Next to the church there is an old house, a national monument.
There is also a small chapel, dedicated to John the Baptist, with interesting paintings by the painter Moretti Foggia.
Don’t forget to visit the Belvedere and the majestic glacier of the Monte Rosa, or the Monte Moro Pass to contemplate the golden Madonna.
